Print on demand

Metal wall art, print on demand.

You already have the designs and the shop. We cut, powder coat, pack and dispatch each piece as the order comes in — one at a time, with no company name anywhere on the box or the label.

What this actually is

WallArtPeople is a metal fabrication workshop in Ankara, Türkiye. This portal is the print-on-demand side of it: sellers upload their own artwork, the system checks whether the file can physically be cut, shows the sizes that are valid for that specific design, and calculates a delivered price per colour and destination country. When a sale comes in, you place the order here and we make that one piece and ship it to your buyer.

It is not a marketplace and not a design library. There is no catalogue of ready-made art for you to slap your name on. You bring the artwork and the customer; we handle steel, paint, packaging and the courier.

How the flow works

  1. 01
    Apply

Sign up with your shop link. If your email is verified and the shop link is live, the application is approved automatically about fifteen minutes later. Applications that do not pass wait for a manual decision.

  2. 02
    Upload artwork

PNG or JPG on the upload screen. If your file is a DXF already drawn at final production size, use the Scaled DXF route instead for a single-size quote.

  3. 03
    Manufacturability check

The engine measures the thinnest metal, the narrowest gaps and any detached pieces, and marks risky areas on a review image. This runs before any payment and costs nothing.

  4. 04
    Read the price

For a design that passes, you get a size table: production and shipping shown separately, by colour and destination country.

  5. 05
Order when you make a sale

Enter your buyer's delivery address and pay by card. The quote you accepted is frozen onto that order — later exchange-rate or cost changes do not touch it.

  6. 06
We make it and blind ship it

Production starts after payment. The parcel goes to your buyer with no brand name on it, and tracking shows up on the order page.

What you can actually sell

Material
1.5 mm laser-cut steel (roughly 16 gauge), powder coated. This is currently the only thickness offered.
Colours
Black (RAL 9005) and White (RAL 9003), metallic finishes including Gold, Red Copper and Metallic Gray, plus a wide RAL range. Colour affects the paint cost line, which the quote table already accounts for.
Sizes
One panel runs from 30 cm on the long side up to 120 cm — and 130 to 140 cm when the short side is 85 cm or under. Designs that can be split into two or three panels go higher, and multi-panel sets of two to six panels are supported.
LED versions
Available from 60 cm on the long side, with a light mask you mark yourself in the portal.
Mounting
Pieces ship standoff-mounted so they sit about 1.5 cm off the wall for a real shadow line. Standoffs, screws and wall plugs are in the box.

Every design also has its own limits. The analysis reads the thinnest line in your artwork and works out the smallest size at which that line is still cuttable steel — so a delicate design may simply start bigger than a bold one. The full rule set is on the file requirements page.

How pricing works

  • No subscription, no listing fee, no minimum order quantity. You pay per piece produced.
  • Production cost depends on outer dimensions and colour. Shipping depends on the destination country and a weight calculated from your artwork's measured fill ratio.
  • Cutting complexity does not change the price. Contour count and cut-path length are a manufacturing concern, not a pricing one — an intricate design and a simple one at the same size cost the same.
  • There is no volume discount tier today. The same formula applies whether you send one order a month or three hundred.
  • Prices are calculated live in the portal against current costs and exchange rates, which is why you will not find a price list on this page.

Shipping, customs and lead time

  • Every parcel ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Import duties are covered on the sending side, so your buyer is not hit with a customs bill at the door.
  • FedEx International Economy, 2 to 5 business days in transit, added on top of production time.
  • Production time is 1 to 4 days for standard pieces and 3 to 7 days for LED versions.
  • Blind shipping is the default and the only mode: no company or brand name appears anywhere on the label or the box.
  • Australia and New Zealand have not been standard destinations for a long time; ask for a size-specific quote before accepting an order from there.

What we do not do yet

It is cheaper for both of us if you know the gaps before you apply rather than after your first sale.

  • Etsy orders do not flow into the portal automatically. Each sale is entered here manually today. We have applied for Etsy's commercial API access and will look at automatic sync if it is granted.
  • Tracking numbers do not push to Etsy automatically either — you copy them from the order page and paste them into Etsy.
  • Inserts are not supported yet: no logo card, no thank-you note, nothing added inside the box. It is on the list, not in the product.
  • There is no account balance or wallet. Each order is paid at the time you place it.
  • One thickness only. If your product genuinely needs 2 mm steel, tell us — but today it is not on the menu.

Frequently asked

Is there a minimum order quantity?+

No. This is print on demand in the literal sense — you place one order per sale and we produce that single piece. There is no stock to buy and no monthly commitment.

Will my customer know who made the product?+

No. Blind shipping is the only mode we operate. No company or brand name appears on the label or the box — not ours, and not your shop name either. The sender shown is a private individual's name and address on the production side.

Do I need to be an Etsy seller?+

No, but the service is designed around that workflow. Shopify sellers and sellers on other platforms use it the same way; the application form asks for a live shop link so we can see you are actually selling.

What happens if my design cannot be manufactured?+

The analysis tells you before you pay anything. Designs with one to three detached pieces are repaired automatically and you are shown what was removed. More than three detached pieces means a rejection — you revise the file and upload it again. Borderline cases go to manual review with a note.

How long does approval take?+

If your email is verified and the shop link you gave is live, the application approves itself about fifteen minutes after signup. Applications that do not pass that check stay pending until they are reviewed by hand.

Can I order a sample first?+

Yes — a sample is just a normal order shipped to your own address. There is no separate sample programme or discounted sample price.
